Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe
With just four simple ingredients, this recipe for cream cheese frosting is quick and easy to make. You can pipe this frosting on a lot of different desserts and it will look great!
SERVINGS: 2 CUPS
– 1 (8-ounce) package brick style cream cheese softened
– 1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter softened
– 2 cups (240 grams) powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Beat cream cheese until smooth in a stand mixer bowl with the paddle or whisk attachment or a large bowl with a handheld mixer. Butter should be mixed for 30 secon
ds to 1 minute until smooth.
When you add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, keep mixing until everything is well combined. If you need to, stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Put icing or frosting on cupcakes, cakes, or other desserts after they have cooled.
