Valeriana officinalis: Valerian is used in relaxation therapies due to its relaxing effects. Valerian grown indoors is relaxing.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis): Its zesty smell lifts and reduces stress. It's a mint and easy to grow.

The butterfly palm, or areca palm, is an appealing and excellent air purifier. Its tropical appeal helps boost mood.

Lemon Tree (Citrus limon): The scent of lemon is often associated with freshness and cleanliness. 

Oregano (Origanum vulgare): This fragrant herb enhances mood and tastes great in cookery. Growing in containers is simple.

English ivy (Hedera helix) purifies the air. Trailing vines can green shelves and baskets.
